I. Arrival to the Hospital

In your entry, you will be pleasantly supported by our Admission Department.We recommend that you contact us from your pregnancy to advance your procedures, whether as a Private, with Maternity Packages, with your Major Medical Expenses Insurance or in Agreement.

II. For the well being of the mother

Since the arrival to the Maternity and Toco-surgery Unit, you will be monitored by the Hospital staff. Be confident that you will receive personalized attention and high capacity from our medical and nursing staff.

Our facilities of Toco-surgery, divided into Labor Rooms, Labor-Delivery, and Operating rooms for cesareans, are equipped with cutting edge technology. Thinking of your comfort, these Operating rooms are exclusive for maternity.

The Recovery Rooms are divided in Post-Labor and Post-Cesarean.

III. For the well being of the baby

One of the advantages in the Toco-surgery area is that is conneceted to the Integral Care Unit for the Newborn; which has the correct amplitude and distribution of the areas of Physical Nursery and Neonatal Intensive Care ; in addition to the most modern equipment to take care of your baby and a nursing service specialized in neonatology.

Each of the newborns are placed in special incubators, so that in their transition, they adapt in a better way to the environment.

We have an Area of Isolation to provide maximum security to newborns, dividing sections for premature babies and babies with some infectious disease.

We also have a Breastfeeding Room, in which you can receive personalized guidance from our trained nursing team.

IV. Comfort and safety during your stay at the Hospital

For your full satisfaction all the rooms are Suites. They have a private waiting room for visitors and are equipped with TV, DVD, wireless internet, air conditioning, Netflix, sofa bed for companions and large bathrooms.

All Suites are equipped with a system of remote electrocardiographic monitoring (telemetry) for patients who require it, providing greater vigilance and security. All our patients are under the care of a large medical group of experience and prestige in all specialties and medical sub-specialties, and our outstanding nursing team takes care of patients with the greatest warmth and professionalism.

The Lomas de San Luis Hospital It works with the strictest safety standards, so when the newborns are taken to visit the room, the nursing staff is always accompanied by a Security Guard.

Labor and cesarean packages

Regular Labor

• Use of cardiotocograph monitor of fetal well being and activity of uterine contractions.

• Trans-labor maternal oxymetry.

For the newborn includes

• Nursery service during one night.

• Transition incubator.

• Radiant heat cradle (1 hour).

• Use of review room and equipment for monitoring maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate Doppler.

• Birth room, with maternal and fetal surveillance monitors.

• Care of the baby by nurses trained in neonatology.
